He explained the importance of matriculation, stating:
“Matriculation is an academic ritual performed to accept new students officially into the tertiary space. It is also a mandatory rite of passage which marks students’ official entry into a higher education institution, by validating their status as bona fide students.”

He emphasized that matriculation formally inducts students into the academic community and signifies their commitment to abide by the rules, regulations, and standards of the College.
Rev. Dr. Fosu-Ayarkwah also announced that a total of 420 students were being matriculated into various programmes, including Home Economics, Mathematics/Science, Mathematics/ICT, Science/ICT, Religious and Moral Education, Social Studies, Languages, and Art Education.
Admission Based on Merit and Integrity
The Principal reassured students and parents of the integrity of the admission process. He firmly stated:
“You were admitted on merits, so never let me down. None of you were admitted through payment of bribe. Thus, if anyone took money from you or your parents to grant you admission through me, go back for your money because I never received it.”
This statement reinforced the College’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and academic merit.
