The third Rev. Dr. Benson Nkansa-Kyeremateng memorial lecture, dedicated to the 6th Principal of this College was held on March 8, 2024, at the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo auditorium at exactly 1:30p.m. The Chairperson of the Governing Council, Prof. E.V.O.
Dankwa chaired the occasion. The guest speaker was Rev. Dr. Kwabena Opuni-Frimpong (Senior Lecturer at KNUST and Former General Secretary of Christian Council of Ghana. The theme of the occasion was: Presbyterian Discipline: A critical Tool for Reshaping the Youth for Ghana’s Social-Economic Development. In, his speech, the guest speaker called for disciplinary measures that would prevent the nurturing of intelligent criminals in the country.
The occasion was graced by the Chairperson of Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Prof. Seth Asare-Danso, and other distinguished guests, such as the Council members, Spouse of the Late Principal of the College, Mrs. Vida Nkansa-Kyeremateng, Directors of Education, Religious leaders, Headmasters of Senior High Schools in Abuakwa south municipality, Headteachers of partner schools, Staff and Students of KiPCOE, and the media.
